It's been a heck of a time on social media and in the news lately. Everywhere you turn, triggering news and images just make a person angrier and angrier. So this week, I wanted to share a little joy instead by posting another toy review! This time, we're taking a look at a dual action, clitoral and vaginal vibrator (also known as a "rabbit" style vibe), called Vs4.5, another of Jopen's gems, part of their Vanity line.
I decided to finally try out the Vs4.5 at the recommendation of many people, who touted its intensity, speeds, and versatility as the Cadillac of vibrators. I thought, with so many amazing reviews, I was sure to love it!
Using the Vs4.5 was how I learned that I'm actually not as un-sensitive in the vulva area as I originally thought. For those of you with a clitoris or vagina of steel that needs a jackhammer to feel anything, the Vs4.5 might be your jam. For me, however, I found it overall to be way too intense for my needs.
Overall satisfaction:
I didn't NOT enjoy this toy, but it's certainly one that gets a lot less attention than a few of my others. I tend to know by now that its use will be a short lived session, which is just fine sometimes. Sometimes you just need a quickie, even with yourself.
Size:
In terms of size, I'd say the Vs4.5 is pretty standard. Its unique shape truly is designed to fit the unique workings of a vagina, with the thin neck allowing for a stronger orgasm and less slippage. The bulb on the end is pretty great for g-spot stimulation, as its width really does cover a wide area to stimulate the whole area pretty thoroughly. The shape and size of it also does give a sensation of fullness, so if that's something you enjoy, you'll probably enjoy the Vs4.5 in that regard.
Color:
So as you can see in the first picture, mine is pink, which just so happens to be my favorite color. I was thrilled when I could get it in pink! Currently it only comes in purple, so I do apologize for breaking your heart if you were hoping to also get yours in pink (or any other colors for that matter).
Pulsation/vibration:
So the cool thing about the Vs4.5 that I haven't seen yet in any other toy, is that it revs up, just like a Harley. Rather than having to click through to find the perfect speed or function, you simply hold down the function button and feel as it gradually gets more and more intense. This could be REALLY fun with a partner, especially if orgasm control is something you fancy.
Versatility:
On the surface, this looks like a pretty standard dual action/rabbit style vibe that one would use on themselves/a partner could use on you. However, I'm told that it can be inserted into a vagina, with the clitoral stimulator on the clitoris, and the vagina having partner lying facedown on their stomach; the partner with a penis (or strap-on, or another dildo, theoretically) slides into the vagina behind it, so that their weight pressed the shaft into the g-spot, and the vibrations stimulate the length of the penis. Do you enjoy double penetration? Do you enjoy intense vibrations? Then you should absolutely give this a try. It's not personally my thing, as I find the vibrations on their own to be intense enough, but again, for that person who enjoys really intense stimulation, plus the above mentioned things, this might be the next best thing you've been looking for. But even if you are simply using it with a partner and inserting only the toy, the neck is very flexible, allowing for you to use it from a variety of angles and positions without losing the overall stimulation of the toy.
Material:
The Vs4.5 sports seamless, phthalate free, body safe silicone that feels like cyberskin. It's smooth and warms up to body temperature, and has no weird smells or feels to it. It is silicone, so just be careful when selecting a lubricant to use with it. Water based or water-silicone hybrid might be best.
Power:
Who has time for batteries? Not I! And not you either, probably (unless you do, in which case, hurray for you!). The Vs4.5 is rechargeable! And comes with a USB cord to plug into your phone block, computer, car adapter ... It takes about 3 hours to charge it all the way up, but once it's charged, you can get anywhere from 1-9 hours of pleasure from this beauty (1 on the highest setting, up to 9 on the lower settings). Simply plug the long skinny metal piece into the tiny hole at the bottom of the base of the toy, and the other end into your block/adapter of choice, and you're good to go.
Sound:
This one's pretty quiet. I used to show this at parties when I was doing toy parties, and I'd joke that you could use this in bed next to your partner while they slept completely unaware, although, while they might not hear the toy, they'd probably definitely hear you. If discretion is important to you in a toy, then the quiet motors of the Vs4.5 have got you covered.
Water friendliness:
The Vs4.5 is completely submergible waterproof!! Yes!! Take it in the shower, the hot tub, bathtub, swimming pool, ocean, puddle ... Dunk this sucker and don't be afraid to get it a little wet!
So overall, this is a pretty great toy. It's versatile, quiet, powerful, flexible, and purple! It's a bit too intense for me to use it as a go-to, but I enjoy it at times when I'm looking for that quick, powerful release. I'd definitely recommend it. Head on over to CalExotics to get yours!
